Building Repair & Maintenance
Rise Rigging repairs and maintains the exterior of commercial, residential, and historic buildings across San Francisco and the Bay Area. Masonry, concrete, sealants, waterproofing, and coatings — the envelope that keeps water out and keeps material off the sidewalk.
We are a General Engineering Contractor with over 30 years of experience working at height, and we own our access. Rope access, swing stage, suspended platform, or scaffold — whichever the repair actually calls for.
What we repair
Masonry
Repointing and tuckpointing, brick and terra cotta repair and replacement, stone repair, crack stitching, anchor and tie replacement, lintel and shelf angle repair, historic restoration.
Concrete
Spall repair, delamination and patching, exposed and corroded reinforcement, structural crack repair, balcony and walkway repair.
Waterproofing and sealants
Sealant joint replacement, waterproofing at transitions and terminations, traffic coatings, water testing to verify the repair.
Coatings and surface preparation
Surface preparation, coatings removal, corrosion treatment, and coating and paint application on facades, steel, and exterior assemblies.
Maintenance review and scoping
Scope refinement of facade inspection reports, repair budgeting, general contracting services, and access consulting. Useful when a report lists more conditions than one budget cycle can absorb and the work needs sequencing.
Protective and safety systems
Building netting, geotech netting, glass restoration, hazard removal, roof anchors and engineered tieback systems.
